    Foods to Fight Cancer

by Richard Beliveau, Ph.D. and Denis Gingras, Ph.D.

I am just beginning to read this book and highly recommend it! My goal is to share information as I read for our mutual edification. These authors estimate that approximately 30% of all cancers in industrialized nations are directly related to poor dietary habits–isn’t that amazing? We need to eat our fruits and veggies!! Since reading this, I have radically changed my diet, and have even started to eat raw broccholi and cauliflower (yikes!). Will anyone out there join me? I’m thinking we need to all encourage each other, and see how things go. Let’s keep each other on a wellness track. FAS

I think this book does sound interesting, and yes, we need to eat more fruit and veggies for many, many different reasons.
My husband died from cancer (diagnosed with stage four colon cancer at age 48). We ate a healthy diet (or so I thought – we didn’t eat the raw califlower or broccoli – only cooked).
I think we do need to eat better.
