    Foods to Fight Cancer

by Richard Beliveau, Ph.D. and Denis Gingras, Ph.D.

I am just beginning to read this book and highly recommend it! My goal is to share information as I read for our mutual edification. These authors estimate that approximately 30% of all cancers in industrialized nations are directly related to poor dietary habits–isn’t that amazing? We need to eat our fruits and veggies!! Since reading this, I have radically changed my diet, and have even started to eat raw broccholi and cauliflower (yikes!). Will anyone out there join me? I’m thinking we need to all encourage each other, and see how things go. Let’s keep each other on a wellness track. FAS

    Welcome

This is my Reader’s Club blog (encourage all to read the same books that I will read). Stay tuned for healthy reading! I have never really “blogged” before, but think this is a neat way for my patients to check out how I think (also encourages constructive input!). My goal is to network better with my patients and others. Warning to reader–my blogs may not always be frequent (my primary job is surgeon), but will try to trickle information when able!
